Was what everyone's personal choice would be for which bowl game OSU goes too?
For selfish reason's I really hope it is the Cotton Bowl... (one because it is close to my parents house so no hotel rooms/ long road trips needed) or the Alamo Bowl (vacation time in San Antonio.. won't have to twist my arm too bad to spent my new years on the river walk and seeing the Alamo)
Holiday Bowl is a great bowl to go too... but won't be able to make it all the way to California for the game... any other bowl and I would be disappointed that we went there.
So..what bowl do you guys really want to go to?

It's always been a dream of mine to see OSU win the Orange Bowl. I love the history of that bowl game with the old Big 8 Conference and for obvious reasons the "Orange" Bowl is just perfect for us.
But that's not going to happen now but maybe next year.
So now my first choice is the Cotton Bowl Classic. It's still a major accomplishment to go to this bowl game and the location of it is perfect for OSU fans and future recruiting. Plus I think we should have won the damn game last time we were there and would love another shot.
After that, the Alamo Bowl. Still a pretty decent bowl game and would be better for OSU fans and recruiting than the Holiday Bowl would be. Maybe the Holiday is a little better (and it would be cool this season since it's 20 years ago we were there last time) but I think the Alamo would do better things for OSU overall. Plus I'd love to see how OSU would do in that game when we're playing an opponent we match up with well and we have a coach who does not have one foot out the door already.

Holiday is my choice for location reasons. If Oregon St. wins out, SC may get sent there, and it would be great to shut the locals up.
Cotton Bowl I can get to easily (nonstop flight) so I would likely go.
San Antonio, and neighboring Austin have been a house of horrors for OSU football and basketball this past decade. I want no part of us playing there.
The Gator Bowl would intrigue me, but I am not going to Jacksonville.
I committed for Sun Bowl tickets, because I could see my mom in New Mexico also.

If we're not in the Holiday, the I prefer Alamo... it's just more fun.
I know Cotton is supposed to mean "more", but as far as a trip, I'll take the Alamo.
BTW fireman, we'll never play in the Orange Bowl, since we don't have a contract with them, and the BCS bowl is not played in the Orange, it's played in Pro Players Stadium. Might as well drop that dream.

I'm not talking about the Orange Bowl Stadium I'm talking about the BCS FedEx Orange Bowl.... the same one KU played in last season. If KU got an at large bid last season why couldn't the same thing happen to OSU someday?

It's unlikely we'll play in the Orange Bowl, but it's not that far-fetched. Kansas played there last year and OU and Texas have both played in the Rose Bowl since the BCS started and they hate having to pick anybody who's not in the PAC10 or Big11.

I'm with the trend. Somewhere close to home where we'll pack the house. Cotton, Alamo, (Even Houston) would work for my selfish purposes.
If we beat the goons I'll do my best for the Holiday, if not then probably not.

I would say that if we beat the goons, Tech and Texas both win out then we are going to the Cotton...my wife and I will go for certain if the bowl game is in Texas, if its the Holiday I may be making a solo trip because she won't fly. Even if Tech loses to the goons I still say 2 Big 12 teams will be in BCS games.
Since we wont see a BCS bowl now. I'll go with Cotton.
