It "warms the cockles of my heart" to see the Tejassians kicking the dog out of ASU. I remember attending an ASU game in Tempe back in the last century that the final score was 45-3 Cowboys. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.:D

ASU has been an ESPN darling all year. They are in love with Erickson, and the love fest continues even though ASU is getting blown out.

It will be intersting to see how the Big 12 fairs this year in the bowls.

College replay doesn't work. ASU got jobbed on that on side kick. The replay clearly showed the ball coming loose before the Texas player's knee hit the ground, but of course there was no attempt to check it on replay by the booth.

Phil, it looked to me like UT simply ran a quick snap to avoid the replay... a smart move, IMO.

Besides, I don't think it would have mattered... ASU found out what we did, that UT plays strong well into the 4th because they have so many athletes that they can keep putting into the game.

It was a major a$$-kicking 52-34. Even Mack Brown's step-son, somebody Jesse, could not screw up enough for ASU to win.

That was really a strange turn of events when SS Jesse came several feet onto the field to act like he was fielding the live ball. The ball took an unexpected bounce and hit Jesse on the thumb. That dumb-a$$ move resulted in ASU getting the ball on the Texas 7 yard line vs. Texas getting the ball at mid-field. The difference was the possession plus 43 yards. I would like to hear what Mack had to say to dumb-a$$ after the game. Mack better get his licks in before his mom is around because she would probably defend him, as almost all moms would.
