I know, I'm looking ahead, but I don't call ISU a trap game. I call it practice. I think we're well past the point of laying an egg at home against inferior opponents.
For some reason, I've been more and more encouraged about the game in Lubbock. When the season started, I'll admit, I chalked it up as a loss. Why wouldn't I? We havn't won there ever!! I think this is our year. Here is my reason. The defense- Man this defense is for real. We've played great the whole season and the thing that I'm most impressed about is they get better every game! Beckman always has great schemes against spread offenses and I think our defense now is leaps and bounds better than what we had playing them last year. Vic Johnson is promising and I think you'll see alot of him in Lubbock.
