If this is what Eddie truly wants then I am all for him. I would have thought that being away from Oklahoma and the Grandkids might have been an obstacle but apparently it was not.

The man has a talent that is rare and that is the ability to get the most out of kids playing roundball.

Questions I would have (in no particular order):

1) Assistants? Will he use the ones that are there or find his own?

2) How quickly can he make a difference? A coach has preseason and non-conference to whip a team into shape and Eddie will not have that.

3) I wonder if the SF Don's thought they understood the word "Defense" :D I believe they will soon have a whole different understanding of what it means.

4) Will SFU have any televised games so that I can watch my favorite coach in action? Hummm, may have to check my DirectTV program guide.

sound like he is "interim" coach, as the current HC Evans asked for and received a leave of absence... suggesting that the assistants will remain in place.
