I know that several of you are going to the Insight Bowl. If you're staying at the Super 8 Motel near the campus, maybe you should give them a call before you leave home.
Fox News reported that there was a fire at a motel. Local news reports give the location as being next to the Super 8 Motel. I don't know the street address, but the news said it was near the campus.

PHOENIX -- Tempe police are questioning four men in connection with a fire Wednesday at a vacant, two-story business park in Tempe. The building is known as hangout for transients.
The Arizona Republic Web site reports more than three dozen firefighters from Tempe, Phoenix, Mesa and other agencies battled the blaze at the former Apache Business Plaza.
The fire was first reported shortly before 4 p.m. It was threatening a Super 8 motel next door, where 30 people were evacuated.
A Tempe Fire Department spokesman said the building has been abandoned for years and was scheduled to be torn down as part of Apache Boulevard redevelopment. He said firefighters were using four ladder trucks.
Looks like that might be an area of town you would want to avoid at any rate.
