I highly recommend this one:

1 lb. ground beef (ground turkey also works well)
1 onion, chopped
1 can Rotel
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (no, this is not an error!)
1 can black beans
1 can corn
1 can water

Brown beef and onions. Drain. Add remaining ingredients, heat thoroughly.

That's the dry salad dressing mix, right?

Yes. I know it sounds strange, but it works.

Gonna try it tomorrow.

Tortillas to go with???

Beer? Wait, yes beer. What the hell was I thinking? I have beer with pancakes. Really, who wouldn't have beer with pancakes if they could?

I have that same recipie and use it all the time, but use beef broth instead of water.

you can also make it by using chopped up chicken and chicken broth in place of the beef.

It is one of my winter time favorites!

Don't have time to cook the meat? Dump in a couple of cans of chicken. Good stuff, Maynard!
