I would bet the house Texas will bring everything on the first series so this is what I would do...
1. Roll Zac out to the right to pitch to Hunter or pass to Pettigrew coming down the line.
2. Pass to Hunter on runningback draw or shuffle pass.
3. Pass to Dez on a slant.

1. Run right at Aropke/Apokpe/Akopre or whetever his name is (not around him.....right at him)...for 5 yards
2. Throw to Pettigrew across the Linebackers so he can drag one of em on his back the last two yards for a 1st down.
3. Playaction on 1st down using Dez as a shield, underneath to Bowling at 8 yards, he picks up another 5 after the catch.

two runs and a deparation pass on 3rd down.
probably Hunter off tackle for a stuff, then an option left with Zac keeping it for a few, then the 3rd and 7 pass (which will either be caught for a 17 yard Dez gain, or be at the feet of one of the other receivers for a drop).
you just can't ever tell...

1st Down: ZMFR drops back to pass, O-line steps aside and lets the middle linbacker rush in unabated towards the QB, ZMFR fires a bullet spiral right into the guy's junk. Incomplete pass. Timeout For Injury.
2nd Down: ZMFR drops back to pass, O-line steps aside and lets the middle linbacker rush in unabated towards the QB, ZMFR fires a bullet spiral right into the guy's junk. Incomplete pass. Timeout For Injury.
3rd Down: ZMFR drops back to pass, O-line steps aside and lets the middle linbacker rush in unabated towards the QB, ZMFR fires a bullet spiral right into the guy's junk. Incomplete pass. Timeout For Injury.
4th Down: ZMFR hits Dez on crossing route in area now vacated by cowering MLB, Dez takes it to the house. 7-0.

1. Option right, 17 yard pickup by Spud.
2. Pass to Pettigrew over the middle, for a 13 yard Cowboy Touchdown.
3. Dan Bailey XP
Oh yeah, Lacey picks off McCoy on the UT 30, on their first posession.

I liked what they did against MO. COme out passing until they back off then establish the run. Texas is going to be playing the run.
Pass to Pettigrew running a post route.
Pass to Dez running a down and out
Pass to Bowling behind the line with triplets to the right.

Hunter rush off right tackle
Pass to Pettigrew over the middle
Pass to Dez down the left side (or DD down the right)

1st...hunter pitch for a loss (texas was expecting it) 2nd...zac in shotgun throws to BP to set up a 3rd and short 3rd...zac rolls out like in the option and steps back and launches a deep pass to bowling who got behind the inexperienced safeties for a touchdown score cowboys 14 texas 0(forgot to mention cox returned the first kickoff for a touchdown)

I agree with that as well.
I honestly think Texas will be anticipating that we'll come out and try to establish the run (which would thus open up the play action and thus the long ball).
Usually, I'd agree with running the ball first, but I think it's important for OSU to make a statement early. That doesn't even necessarily mean we have to score on the first drive - just show we can move the ball, and given UT's pass defense (the Longhorns are 10th in the conference in pass defense), I think it'd be easier to do that through the air.
