I took me about an hour to figure how to accept a "friend request." Sheesh. I love our new features, but I think I'm lagging behind on the learning curve....

I don't really know yet. I'm learning them as well. I see you can have chats with your friends on their pages.

I've just now figured out that the plus sign next to a name on the active users list at the bottom means that they are your friend. Isn't it grand to have friends?! :D

Click on your name and look around JB. You can accept friends up where your pm's are. You should see a request now from me. Open it up and look at it.

Did I accept AnniePokely as a friend or did I lose my only friend? I think I clicked everything on that page to make sure I didn't mess up but I might have anyways.

So what does that friend feature do for you?

It shows that you are interested in what a member has to say.

Having a friend means that you should take an extra step to understand them and to be considerate of them.

Now, after you have been able to do this with your friends you should try to exhibit similar traits with others.
