List additional things you'd like to see here on OSS. You might not see them all installed, and I won't reply to each request, but i'd like to see what your vision for this site is. Jessica and i would like to keep adding to what we think is already a great OSU site. We're willing to spend our money to make this the best place it can be. We care what you think. We appreciate you being here.

Currently i am working on:
Installing a chat room
Installing a link to rival Big 12 sites
OSS Merchandise (t-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, etc...)
none of the other boards do that, and i think it would be cool.

The first two you are working on, chat and links are what I would like to see most.

As far of the lack of response, its really is hard for anyone around here to make any kind of point or suggestion without being a wisenheimer or going off topic. If you hadn't put the "bad cop" smack down on Bleed,;) this thread would have followed so many others to the gutter.

Does the photo album allow me to post my pictures, i.e., construction photos, etc? I haven't really checked out its limits or capabilities.

I did like Photopost on the old site.

Check out some new things added. Go to User CP and you can add friends to your profile, and even add new groups. You can also add your own photos to a album. Click on a user's profile and check all that out. Very cool!

The photo album works...and the upload works very quickly!

Would it be possible to extend the edit time more, maybe 10 or 15 minutes?

There are a couple of things I'd like to see changed.
1) Like Snuffy said - it would be nice to extend the edit time. 5 minutes is really short. I wouldn't have a problem with bumping it to an hour.

2) Allow more threads on one page. With only 20, stuff falls off the first page really quickly. Doubling it to 40 would help keep 'still new' things from dropping off quickly and wouldn't substantially add to load time.

Having suggested those, everything looks GREAT! Thanks for everything that you all do!

Oh, and one more thing. How about adding 'slappy fight' to the smilies list:

Some of the conversations just need that. :-)

We changed the thread edit to 15 minutes. Too many people go back and edit a post after others have responded, and it can make a thread all crazy to read.


Also changed the threads to 40 posts per page. I'm not sure i like it, but i'm willing to give it a try if it makes you folks happy.


Added the slappy face smilie, and will be adding more.

I'd like to see a link to your add for Bill's body shop. I want to see some pictures of some of those sweet rides that he's done. I've seen your truck but I remember an old Toy that you were working on for FloridaPoke. Is that still a work in progress? If my memory serves me (which is often fails me) that was a complete frame off restore job.
