In case you guys missed it, our very own OSU Storm was featured last night during halftime at the University of Texas-Arlington game as Orange Santa!

Storm always dresses up like Santa in a full ORANGE Santa suit at the games between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Phillip interviewed Storm out on the floor of GIA, and then Orange Santa walked the entire perimeter of the court passing out gifts to the audience!

Then during the second half, Phillip went up to Storm’s seats to thank him for his OSU Spirit! Storm replied with mic in hand and over the PA system with one of the loudest “Let’s GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…..COWBOYS!!!”

We knew he was going to be interviewed as Phillip came up and let him know at the last home game. We really wanted to be there, but had Betty's family christmas yesterday.
Gave our tickets to Backhomepoke so Storms niece and nephew could see SantaStorm in action!!!

Now if the athletic dept. would just let him give away candy at the games.

Thanks again for that. We had my 2 sons and 1 daughter at the first game, then my youngest went home with Santa's parents, they were there too. Santa is trying to get mom to make me an orange elf's suit but I don't think that many would want to see that!:D

Hundreds of pictures taken that day. None by me!

They bought me orange candy sticks to hand out. You would be amazed how many more kids come up to Orange Santa when candy is involved.

I also learned it's a lot harder to toss stuff to the higher seats than it looks. I needed about twice the stuff to give out. Maybe next year I can do a little more lobbying.

If you could only see the eyes of a little child when he/she sees Santa. Makes my Christmas right there!
