Gotta think this is. I can't see a win against as high a ranked opponent ever. Certainly not in the "modern" era.

Previous Top-5:

1. 2001 @Oklahoma (#4) 16-13 – Biggest “upset” by an unranked OSU team ever.
2. 2002 Oklahoma (#4) – 38-28 - Exclamation mark of Miles second season. Proved ’01 no fluke
3. 1984 South Carolina (#7) – 21-14 (Gator Bowl).- OSU ended ’84 with highest AP ranking in history.
4. 1984 @Arizona State (#12) – 45-3 – Unranked OSU season opening road win against Top-15 team.
5. 1985 @Washington (#12) – 31-17 – Opening road win over top-15 opponent for 2nd year in a row

Where would you place tonights win on that list?

My recollection was that Arizona State was ranked #1 preseason before we knocked them off in 1984. Maybe I'm wrong but I remember them being #1 in at least one preseason poll.

We'll have to see how Mizzou's season plays out. And ours.

ASU was ranked #1 (I believe) by Sports Illustrated. The ranking I'm quoting above is the AP Poll.

That's probably true... If they win the North and play for a Big-12 Championship then it was a pretty big win.
