Something i'm finding funny..

I'm not a big cook. I've always been the provider for my family. Bring home the bacon, but not cook it. I'm a fanatical house cleaner, but just never been a big cook. I CAN, but momma has been the cook for a few years, so i basically never needed to.

So now that we're home, ALL the cooking is up to me, INCLUDING Christmas dinner for ten. I'm a little freaked out by that, but i actually made the grocery list and went and bought groceries last night. One down.

AND...i made momma a big breakfast this morning. I rock at eggs and toast.

Pray for my family to live through my Christmas dinner.


All kidding aside, i'm sure it will be fine. I'd eat eggs for Christmas dinner and be happy about it. It's so good to be home.

Good for you and good luck with the dinner Annie. I live alone and some years I eat alone on xmas. I usually wind up grilling a steak or some other non traditional food. Many of my friends have turned to buying the precooked complete dinners at the grocery stores. It sure saves a lot of time and trouble and mess and they are good.
