With a birthday 3 days before christmas, did you always make a big haul two times in a row, or was your birthday shortchanged because of christmas?

Congrats on another year guys!, and Memphis, keep supporting those single mothers out there!

Happy Birthday to both of you! I hope you both have a wonderful day!

*hugs*

And for the record, i was always short changed with a birthday 10 days after Christmas. What a rip off.

My Dad was a farmer/rancher and my mom was a school teacher in Grady County.......therefore, as we all know how wonderful Oklahoma pays teachers and how lucrative(?) farming and ranching is :D, I nearly always got one gift and a smile on Christmas morning.

How about you Ivan?

And thanks Annie. My birthday present is knowing that you and your mom are home safe and sound and Ms. Vickie will be around for a lot longer.

Thanks everybody I feel old this time around, with all my cousins growing up and going to college, and one of my grade school friends sisters recently got married.

To your question jack:
Well my dad's side of the family is pretty big, so I usually got a "here's your birthday AND your christmas present" from most of them. One of my aunts gave me a card and money for my birthday.

My mom's side of the family is much smaller (one aunt), so they were very good about separating my birthday and christmas. As did my parents.

Time to go make my self a birthday breakfast, blue berry muffins !
