I know the B12 has a contract with XM, and I know there's been a merger between Sirius and XM but not yet any merging of the services and only Mad Dog Russo is broadcasting on both networks. But this is the first OSU game to be broadcast on Sirius, while aTm and other B12 schools are on there almost every week. And even now we have to listen to the collie callers. What gives?? Do these schools have deals separate from the conference with Sirius?

This weeks Big 12 Sirius lineup:

Oklahoma @ Baylor

12:00 PM Kansas @ Iowa State

2:30 PM Texas Tech @ Kansas State

7:00 PM Texas A&M @ Oklahoma St

7:00 PM Texas @ Colorado

8:00 PM Missouri @ Nebraska

I believe Dave and John will be heard on XM Radio 242 this week.

I believe that the Big 12 contract is with Sirius. OSU signed it's own deal with XM, and I thought there was one other Big 12 school to go with XM. So the game will be on Sirius with aTm announcers and as stated Dave and John will be on XM.

As a Sirius subscriber I feel your pain but lucky for me will be at the game. Hope they get the merger moving along so I can listen to the Pokes again on Sirius when on the road.

Hope that helps.

Texas has an XM contract. I heard an add today on XM for Imus, some special deal to buy him ala cart on one station on XM. Sounds like the blending is beginning.

Word is that you can get all of the college sports currently offered on XM by adding the "Best of XM" package to your Sirius subscription....I signed up for Sirius when OSU was partnered with them, I miss those days, hopefully this actually works out as advertised.

Me too. We have 4 Sirius radios. We chose Sirius over XM just because we could get the Pokes, then one year later they jump to XM. I still feel that was BS and showed no regard for the fans.

Anyway I'll look into that package. Thanks!

I couldn't agree more that the switch was made with no regard to fans, it still gets me all worked up when I think about it. OSU sports is really the only reason me and my wife even purchased satellite radio in the first place!

I've got an aircard for my laptop so I can listen to the MVP broadcast most of the time while I'm on the road, but it's a pain in the butt. The signal is "iffy" while moving down the highway and the sound quality sucks. This weekend at least I can just listen to the radio which is better. I'm in a fishing tournament that ends @ 7:30 so I'll be able to hear the aggies game callers on my boat. They're actually pretty good.

It took one more message than I was betting myself it would, but the sirius question did get the frivolous response! :)
