Did anyone else see the article in the DOK about Desmond Mason yesterday??

He's quoted saying "I'm going to brag about Oklahoma anyway. I love being back in a community that embraced me. It's fun."
Mason wraps both arms around everything in the state of Oklahoma, except the color crimson and anything OU.
(Mason said there are only two reason he would ever venture to Norman - a Bedlam game and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.)

:ousucksnana:

Anyways, I just thought it was a pretty good article. I sure wish we had a few more of him on our team this year!!!! Oh and someone needs to tell him he can get Krispy Kreme off of Memorial and Penn!!!! :D

Are there no Krispy Kremes outside of Norman?

Norman does not even have one any more, I think it is now a BBQ place.

Yep the Krispy Kreme off of I-35 in Norman is now JR's Bar BBQ. But c'mon Dez,just about 10-15 minutes south of the Ford center, is a Krispy Kreme off of 1-240 and western. Just head south down shields, and take the 1-240 service road to western. It's on the south side of the interstate, and much closer then Penn/Memorial and certainly norman ever was.

Most of the basketball players from the Hornets bought houses in Edmond, in fact, Chris Paul still owns his house in Edmond. Pargo also lived in the Edmond area as he visited my store quite frequently with questions on his Blackberry, even though he was with a different carrier than I work for, I was glad to help him. He said he liked our customer service better than AT&T. Nice guy. My sister in law hung out with Chris alot(Yes, she's hot) and leased most of them their cars. She works at Jackie Cooper BMW. So I assume most of the Thunder players will migrate to the Edmond/North OKC area as well

A few of the Hornets rented some very nice houses in the same addition that my grandmother lives in, which is Monticello (150th between portland and macarthur).
