Got a buck in full velvet and a doe with my bow (one the same day). Then I passed on many, many small bucks, a small 8 point, and a bunch of does. Might shoot a doe Sunday or next weekend. I'm off for several days so me and the bow will be out!

Who's army are you going to feed with all that meat? Vetmed probably won't fire up his smoker til next season. My friend who hunts Payne & Cleveland counties (his farm land),hunts only for trophy bucks didn't see any during black powder or gun season.
