Ok....I know this isn't sports related but we are having girls night out on January 12th and we are coming to Stillwater to watch the OSU/UO bedlam women's game.

What I need to know are the name of the hotels in Stillwater. I used to have a list, but I know there are some knew ones.....and I can't find said list. :o

Thanks for any information!!

(Admins.....if this needs to be moved....that's cool.)

Hey, it's sports-related! You're going to a game, aren't you? Can't help you with the hotels, but I've always wanted to stay in the Atherton in the Union.

I'd advise staying at Fairfield or Hampton Inn, the Atherton is also nice.

We've stayed at the Atherton for sport's FB-wrestling, BB-wrestling several times. The only kickback we ever had was when the girl teams have a team tournament, the door banging and noise level continue well into the wee hours of the night. A lot of boys come visiting to console the girls who lost i guess.

Being a long time resident of Stillwater and having been in nearly all of the hotels/motels (some as an overnight guest and some as a....well...overnight guest, don't ask) I would recommend either the Atherton or the Hampton. Staying in the Atherton is like taking a trip back in time with some modern updates. Nice place to stay and gives a 'warm fuzzy' feeling being right on campus. I have heard nothing but good things about the Hampton. Some of the other places in town pretend to be hotels but are actually roach motels...inexpensive in Stillwater quite often means cheap.

Thanks for the list Andy.....and to all other suggestions.

Tried to get a room at the Atherton......they were already booked....but I was able to get a room at the Fairfield.

Probably to Aggies. We seem to have a good time there and stay somewhat out of trouble. Might go to Joes. We'll have to see. But anyone is welcome to join us.....the more the merrier!!! And we ARE a lot of fun!!! ;)
