Okay, I give. That was the last time I will go to KFC. For the last few times I have gone, I haven't enjoyed their chicken whether extra crispy or original.

They had just dumped the chicken from the fryer so the chicken was extremely hot. But when eating it, the chicken was tough and spongy -- a sign, I think, of cooking it too fast. I always feel like my arteries are plugging up when I eat there anyway so I will look for some healthier food. Goodbye KFC. Good riddance.

Course, I could go there and order crispy chicken. And when they tell me they only have extra crispy or original, then I could walk out for good.

I love fried chicken. I think it's in my southern blood, or something. KFC is no Popeye's, but it'll do in a pinch.

Theonly thing I ever eat at KFC is their BBQ wings & cole slaw. And the strips are good.

The regular chicken doesnt do it for me.

If I'm going for fried chicken, I generally go to Chicken Express...I love that place...back home, I like to eat at Bojangle's, which has some good fried chicken as well...KFC has just never been good, IMO....

Popeye's, Churches, Mrs Winners, Zaxby's. Any of those before I would set foot in a KFC.

If I'm going for fried chicken, I generally go to Chicken Express...I love that place...back home, I like to eat at Bojangle's, which has some good fried chicken as well...KFC has just never been good, IMO....
Bojangle's has become my new favorite chicken place. Good flavor and not at all greasy. Doesn't hurt that their biscuits are the bomb, either.

The only other chicken place I want to try here is Zaxby's, but I can't convince Erin to go there.

Popeyes is great!
The spicy chicken strips are very good.

But my favorite on the menu is crawfish & the red beans & rice!

I really think they hurried my order and took the chicken out before it was cooked. It was so hot I could hardly eat it but the texture gave the impression it was not fully cooked.

Best chicken I ever ate was the broasted chicken at Latigo's. Church's was good while they lasted in Stillwater. Grandy's wasn't bad. Right now, I think I will go back to Popeye's or (gulp) Chick-fil-A. Seriously, Chick-fil-A isn't too bad if you eat it in at the restaurant (it's pretty fresh.) If I eat it in the Student Union, it's pretty bad because I think they just refry it for the next day. I still want to go to Eischen's over the holidays and try their chicken.

Is Erin into Salads and stuff like that? If so get her to Zaxby's. They make several killer salads with fried chicken strips. Really you have got to go and try them out.

I quit going to KFC years ago. The last time I seen KFC chicken it was pink and they called it done. I told the woman if its done then I wanted to see her eat pink chicken. needless to say I got my money back.

A friend of mine brought some chicken from Popeye's for me to try. That stuff was nasty, if you want some great chicken then its best to cook it at home!

Because Stillwater is a collage town I don't eat at fast food places I don't trust them.

I still want to go to Eischen's over the holidays and try their chicken.

Hot an greasy and best followed by a pickle/onion/white bread sandwich and all washed down with a cold beer. :) (but still good even if you don't drink beer!)

Do we have anyone here who has eaten at AQ? I think it is in springdale. And maybe one in fayetteville.

I've eaten there many a time. But I always get chicken and dumplings.

Used to work in Fayetteville. My district sales manager loved that place. Used to eat there every time he came to town.
