11. Insight Bowl
Indiana vs. Oklahoma State, Dec. 31
Off to its first bowl game since losing the 1993 Independence Bowl, Indiana fulfills the promise made by the late Terry Hoeppner that is was possible to win in Bloomington. The offense is just explosive enough to hang a huge number on a porous Oklahoma State defense, but there will be plenty of big plays from both sides. The two defenses are ultra-aggressive, but they also get burned. The Cowboys are ninth in the nation in total offense, while IU can put up points in bunches when it gets on a roll.
Stars of the show: 1) Indiana WR James Hardy, 2) Oklahoma State RB Dantrell Savage, 3) Indiana QB Kellen Lewis
The off-the-cuff initial prediction: Indiana 38, Oklahoma State 27

and don't forget the South Florida / Mississippi State game, where MSU will stuff that Barry pretender into the turf and keep him from breaking the single season record!!

I agree with this analysis as well. MSU's astonishing success this season in the SEC was built upon a better than average defense. No way Barry's record falls, even though the playing field is tilted toward the Florida kid.:p

He needs 180 some-odd, and MSU only allows 150 ypg, and they held McFadden to only 88 on 23 carries.

He doesn't play for south florida he plays for central florida. But I don't think he gets the 180 yds against miss st. They have done a good job turning that program around.
