A look at Oklahoma State's remaining opponents:
Troy (Sept. 27, Stillwater): A revenge game for the Cowboys, who were drilled 41-23 at Troy last season. The Trojans are 2-0, but play at Ohio State this week. Troy leads the nation in pass efficiency defense and ranks 11th in total offense.
Texas A&M (Oct. 4, Stillwater): After back-to-back one-point losses to A&M, the Cowboys and their fans should be cranked for this one. In advance of Saturday's home game against Miami (Fla.), the Aggies rank last in the Big 12 in scoring, last in total offense and 11th in rushing.
Missouri (Oct. 11, Columbia): One week before hosting OSU, the Tigers play at Nebraska. Mizzou leads the Big 12 in scoring (57.7-point average) and total offense (597.3-yard average). The Tigers had 549 yards against Illinois and 651 against Nevada.
Baylor (Oct. 18, Stillwater): If freshman quarterback Robert Griffin stays healthy, the Bears could become a fairly formidable presence in the Big 12 South. As Baylor improved to 2-1 with a 45-17 pasting of Washington State, Griffin rushed for 217 yards and two TDs.
Texas (Oct. 25, Austin): The Longhorns, who don't quite seem to be on the same level as Oklahoma and Missouri, host Rice and Arkansas before opening conference play at Colorado. Relative to expectations, Texas has had a so-so start. The Longhorns rank sixth in the Big 12 in total offense and ninth in total defense.
Iowa State (Nov. 1, Stillwater): The 2-1 Cyclones lost 17-5 at Iowa, but limited the Hawkeyes to just one offensive touchdown. Iowa State had a 325-244 advantage in total yards.
Texas Tech (Nov. 8, Lubbock): The 11th-ranked Red Raiders should be 7-0 in advance of their Oct. 25 game at Kansas. Texas Tech's next four are vs. UMass, at Kansas State, vs. Nebraska, at Texas A&M. Tech averages nearly 450 passing yards per game.
Colorado (Nov. 15, Boulder): The 2-0 Buffaloes are preparing for a pair of extremely interesting contests. They host West Virginia on Thursday (ESPN) and visit Florida State on Sept. 27. Colorado is 11th in the Big 12 in total offense.
Oklahoma (Nov. 29, Stillwater): In a 55-14 blowout at Seattle, the second-ranked Sooners completely dominated Washington. In eight of Sam Bradford's 17 starts at quarterback, OU has reached the 50-point mark.
