Juco forward commits to Cowboys

Oklahoma State gained its second basketball commitment in three days, securing a pledge Sunday from 6-foot-6 forward Brad Reese of Gulf Coast Community College in Florida.
Reese, who averaged 16.7 points and 4.1 rebounds as a junior college rookie last season, is regarded as one of the top juco prospects in the Class of 2009, according to Scout.com.
Reese elevated his stock with a strong showing at a junior college summer camp. He was being courted by Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa State, LSU, South Florida and Texas Tech, according to recruiting services.
"(Oklahoma State has) been recruiting me real hard, real hard," Reese told Scout.com. "They came in and met my family and it's a basketball school. I just pulled the trigger."
Two days earlier, OSU got a commitment from a top 100 high school prospect, Roger Franklin of Duncanville, Texas. The Cowboys have five Class of 2009 commitments — four high school players and Reese.
