STILLWATER - Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy has announced the signing of seven community college players to national letters of intent. Each of the players will enroll at OSU immediately and will begin classes in Stillwater in January.
The group of newcomers includes five defensive players. Three of the signees are from the newly crowned junior college national championship team at Butler County Community College, including the most valuable player from the championship game. Three new defensive linemen will join the fold, along with an All-America offensive lineman, two defensive backs and a heavily decorated running back. The three Butler County players are all ranked among the top 36 junior-college players in the country by Rivals.
The newcomers include: safety Lucien Antoine, defensive tackle Chris Donaldson, defensive back Maurice Gray, running back Beau Johnson, defensive tackle Swanson Miller, offensive lineman (and Oklahoman) Andrew Mitchell and defensive end Jeremiah Price.
