As fans, we have lots of power when it comes to wins and losses. Don't think that recruiting, coaching, and team preparation are all that matters. T-shirts, hats, pre-game shots, and chants done around bonfires whilst wearing loincloths...these things matter.

So what will YOU do on game day to help the Cowboys to a better record this year? Was that hat you're thinking about putting on your head in your possession the last time we lost? Ditch it! Where's the shirt you wearing when we beat the crap out of Nebraska last season? Dig it out and put it on! Did you eat a whole plate of cheese fries before the game against ou last season? Suck it up and don't do it THIS year.

We're not amateurs here. Make it happen. Let the good juju flow!

The one thing I will change this year...no trash talking to the Longhorns.

When I first moved to Texas, I proudly declared we'd destroy them. That, uh, was 1996, when we got SOUNDLY blown out by them. Next year, I was so quiet in fear of further embarassment. We blew them out.

I have spouted off every year since.

So, I'll be most humble this year regarding the Horns. We'll see how it works out.

I will wear my lucky orange t-shirt, and drink coffee from my lucky orange mug both Friday AND Saturday mornings. If necessary, and I have to save this one for very, very serious need, I will brush my teeth with my SonicCare for the entire fourth quarter, as I had to do in that Texas Tech game a couple of years ago. It hurt, but it was worth it.

Uumm, last year I had a beer before every loss......... but I also had one before every win so I am releived that is not the problem. I have new game day boots this year and we are undefeated so I feel they are a lucky charm.

BTW, you don't wear tennis shoes to a butt kicking contest.

Wow, that is dedication to one's team!

I have my Friday-Saturday ritual of wearing orange of course. I don't use red objects, like plates or cups.

I select the day's beer based on a formula/point system invented by me. It is extremely complicated and often I walk back and forth in the liquor store trying to decide on my purchase. I usually try to have something picked before I arrive, but if they don't have it, it throws me a curve ball. For instance, before the WSU game I went in the store to purchase the Sam Adams Oktoberfest. It is a domestic beer (+) it is not from the region of the opponent (+) a good seasonal (+) and it has an orange label (+++) The said they were out and after pacing back and forth for 30 minutes the came out with the "do not sell" stash.

I think if everybody would hold their breath osu might win against Texas.

I know that I am willing to parachute down into Alonzo. Mayes Stadium at halftime if that would help us win.

A.M. Stadium is the new name we should call Boone Pickens Stadium and we proball ought to rename GIA to Doug Gotleib arena .

as to what i am willing to do well I am Willing to spike the drinks of the texas players if we had a banquet the day of the game. would I win cookie for this , you know my time is a precious commodity.:cool-smiley-027::party-smiley-018:

And let me be the first to say, "Those are some seriously sweet boots!"

I love them.

I'd give my right tit and 15 lymph nodes for an '88 rerun plus two; oops, they're already in a research study at St. Francis! I'll think about this and get back later, but anything involving movies and the poodle is not an option.:party-smiley-018:

I started brushing and we immediately scored a touchdown. After that I was afraid to stop.

I will calmly sit in my house sipping on some water while I watch the game on TV or the computer. When we score a touchdown I will calmly say something like "Oh gee we made a touchdown". When the opponents score a touchdown I will calmly say something like "Oh shucks, they scored".

NOT!

I will yell and scream like I normally do causing great fear by the dog. I will throw things and I will use language not appropriate for women or children. And when we win I will be in a really good mood for the rest of the day/evening. When we lose I am not a very happy camper for the rest of the day/evening. (read: not someone you want to be around)
