Dez Bryant was taking the team-first approach following OSU's 56-37 victory over Houston on Saturday night.
"It was a great night for the team," Bryant said. "I felt we all came out and did our jobs."
Bryant did his job for sure. The sophomore wide receiver's performance against the Cougars was one of the ages.
He received national attention because of it — Bryant was named the Walter Camp Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week. He matched his career-high total in receptions (nine) for a career-best 234 yards and three touchdowns. In the fourth quarter, Bryant added a 71-yard punt return for a TD.
"He's showing more consistency in what he's doing," coach Mike Gundy said. "Obviously, he's got some skills."
Through two games, Bryant has 16 of OSU's 34 receptions.
