What a wonderful day

Everyday is a new adventure for me at this stage of life. I tend to have more downer days than the good ones since the National Wrestling Championships last March. Matter of fact, its like i've been on a one man down-hill luge racing for that finishing line. I'm not complaing about my fate since i was diagnosised last December as terminal.

Yesterday was my most "up-day" in a long time. To be able in person to see the beautiful west end zone being completed and utilized by a great crowd. And a win is always great also.

But the most up lifting effect was seeing all my Oklahoma State friends and fans at tailgate. Over my many years of involvement at OSU and Oklahoma A&M athletics, i have been exposed to many of my good friends, but yesterday was really a treat and special to me. I hope i didn't cause any camera damages from the pictures taken with the various groups i posed with. Especially those groups with all the "cuties".

I want to express thanks for making it my day to: the Stugeon Clan, Lee, Randy&Christina, Storm, JD&JDettes and, Neal, Justin and all the others
there.

If the Lord is willing, i hope to see you all again this coming game Saturday. PS, Saturday September 13th will be my 74th birthday!

Sorry I missed the tailgate and missed meeting you. I'll be sure to make it next weekend so I can meet you and we can celebrate our birthdays together and our gift can be a Cowboy win!!!
