New Sound system ROCKS!! It completely drowned out the Houston band, and if can do that when the goons :ousucksnana:come to town crank it up!!

Houstons punter has a heck of a leg.

Coolest picture if I only had a zoon lens was the silhouette or the ROTC guys on top of the stadium during the National Anthem at full salute standing at attention. Wish I would have had a better camera. They scared the crap out of a bird flying by when they shot that gun off. Hillarious.

Theres no flag pole? Where is it supposed to go?

We need a bigger band to fill up the section they were in.

I think the new stadium will be defening when Texass and the Goons come to town.

I do think Larry's mic needed to be turned up a bit,as he was a little lower sounding,and not as clear as in the past. At least some of us on the southside thought so.

We were sitting behind the Houston band and they were plenty loud. Our band on the other hand you could barely hear! Then at times they were playing all we could hear was what was being said over the PA. I'd much rather hear the band, so they either need to turn down the speakers a bit, or mic the band.

So true. We need the band mic'd and if they are then we need to really have someone engineer the sound system. I couldn't tell that the band was playing unless I looked down to that end of the field to see if they were or not.

Question for all of you that have commented about not hearing the band. Do you sit on the east half of the stadium? The last few years that I've been to the games, I've sat more on the Western edges of the stadium and could not always heard the band play when they were on the east end zone. Is it that they have changed endzones and what you once was able to hear now you can't? Or the overall noise has amped up and now drown out the bank?

We sit in what was section P on the north side (west 40 yard line) I couldnt hear our band very well last night. I heard them better when they were in the lower east endzone.

We sit in former secton Q and when the band was down in the east end zone we heard them just fine.

Yes. Our band is not large as it is, so is really tough to hear them especially when the other team's equally-large band is only 53 yards away and pointed directly at you.

We are in 203 on south side and our band was hard to hear while their band was loud.
