but the OSU defense last year might have let this game get away. There's still concern about the defense but there are signs of improvement. Defensive line pressure, big hits on receivers, Jacob Lacey's tipping passes away, some three-and-outs by the opposing offense... There needs to be more contain of the quarterback on scrambles. There needs to be a few sacks on those safety blitzes instead of near misses or not even getting to the quarterback. And coverage needs to be shored up -- still some wide open receivers but it is getting better. The offense was great tonight but the defense kept Houston from getting back into the game. And thank God for their center -- two high snaps cost them a possible four points and a 20-16 halftime lead.
