I am not sure if there is a college that has a stadium with a dome but would you guys be opossed to seeing any college team build a dome on their stadium ? I know probally a dumb question but i think I would be open to Okklahoma state having a dome on Victor de Grate stadium this is the name we should change the name to if we change the name again. (kidding)

I have pondered about this for three weeks now and was wondering if this would be met with treberlike skeptizium ( spelling ?):party-smiley-018:

Football and baseball are meant to be played outdoors, IMHO.

A question for the old timers.

Does anyone remember (I think it was Myron Roderick) OSU saying that they had a vision of a new domed stadium......with the dome shaped like a cowboy hat?

I took so much crap from my UO friends about this for about 10 years after, I will never foget it.

But the Boone gives me the last laugh.....and I am very grateful that it doesn't have a cowboy hat dome.

(It's really sort of hellish trying to moderate this insane asylum! You know--hellish in a fun way.)

okay, now I'm confused...

Do Proctor's work in a proctologist's office?

... and, if so, which of these tasks do they perform?

1. a person appointed to keep watch over students at examinations.
2. an official charged with various duties, esp. with the maintenance of good order.
3. to supervise or monitor.

(got a good visual yet?)

FloridaPoke, my dad was University Architect back then. His responsibilities were to oversee and direct the design and building of buildings on campus. He couldn't believe that they wanted to "dome" the stadium let alone dome it like a cowboy hat. Thankfully, it never happened.
