The team name goes from one type of boom (Sonic) to another type of boom (Thunder).

They need to fire thier graphic artist!! That is the dumbest looking logo and color scheme I have ever seen. I can live with the name, but that logo and even the font they used look stupid!

Why pay someone to design a logo when the obvious choice is to just paste this guy's mug on the jerseys? :-)

I would cancel the payment to the people who came up with this. The colors don't evoke anything close to thunder and my first grader could do a better design.

I'm giving the over / under of the first time you hear Thunderstruck by AC/DC played in the arena after you walk in the doors at 45 seconds.

Really bad Thunderdome quotes from the movie on played over the PA system is at 15 minutes.

It just occurred to me that the best thing about the OKC team being named "Thunder" is the potential for AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" to be the intro music.
