in Houston and got to meet her and her mother for the first time. I think we had a good visit. Vickie was doing well and talking and making good conversation and hoping to be released in time to be home for Christmas. Vickie had a light lunch (soup and liquids) while I was there and she fed herself, but Annie was right by her bed ready to help if needed.
Annie looked great in her OSU gear and was taking very good care of her mother and showing me around at the same time. Annie is a trouper and does not show that she has been sleeping in straight back chairs and finally a recliner. Two other things I learned about Annie---- she is generous....and she is certainly a fast walker. LOL. She left me in the dust when we walked thru the hospital. Great meeting them and my guess is they will be in OK for Christmas.:)
