Taking the kids out there seems a bit much to me.... that's just foolish.

I was thinking the same thing.

I don't think they should take kids, but yeah, I might do it.

Utter stupidity. Every single one of them.

The one's with the kids should have their asses kicked ten different ways.

Obviously anyone who would wear a speedo like that needs to have their heads examined anyway.

Though you can tell from the pictures that the area they are in has very low currents. The biggest risk is probably losing your footing rather than being pulled over.

I'd probably do it. Looked really shallow at that point.

I really thought these people were nuts. That water is moving faster than I thought it would be.

But then I just saw these loose screws.

So, I have just decided these are the real nuts.

I believe he said, "Look at the penalty for failure, Dude" and "Are you all right."

The pool on the falls seems to have a small lip or wall so it seems safe, but I would not take a child or teenager.

The guys on the bikes, well, you just can't fix stupid.

Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River (Zambia & Zimbabwe border). I've been there three times in the 1960's & 1970's. Zimbabwe was still Southern Rhodesia then before Robert Mugabe screwed it up. I did not know about the Devil's Swimming Pool but would have saved my energy for a sundowner cruise on the Zimbabwe River above the falls.

I always wanted to try the white water rafting in the canyon below the falls. There are huge Crocodiles in the rapids below the falls but there are so many stunned fish coming through that they are not interested in humans. The rapids are bad news but I know a number of people that have gone through without getting dunked. You get out and sturdy many of the rapids from the rocks above and the guides tell you exactly how you should approach and handle each rapid. Below is a video to give you some idea how nasty the rapids are. Many of these rafters were not paying attention during their breifing.
