I was talking with some friends and fads from the '80s were brought up. One thing that was mentioned was those shoes that had two laces for each shoe. One for the front half of the shoe and one for the back half. I thought it was K-Swiss, but am probably wrong. Anyone else remember this?

I believe it was Kaepa, not K-Swiss. Also wasn't basically one string for the lower part of the tongue and one for the upper (both on the front of the shoe, immediately on top of each other).

If you click on the link at the top instead of the embedded video, it'll work.

As I recall, Kaepa also had the removable velcro logo in different colors to match other clothes.
I remember the bright neon huge shoelaces that people wore with converse all star high tops too.
nice!

You're welcome. They actually made an pair with the OSU logo on them. I still had mine up to a few years ago, but they disappeared during some spring housecleaning. :(
