After watching are defense struggle at rushing the passer i am curious as to what dt larry brown and xlk are doing nowdays has anyone heard how they are doing ? its a shame that we couldnt keep girtman and walter thomas around . i would love to have a killer dline with guys like ryan mcbean, xlk, larry brown because those guys got after it.
by who was it that recruitted jamal and kevin williams ? was that bob simmons? i was in san deigo when pat jones term and just arrived back in oklahoma in bobs 2 nd to last year. so i couldnt remember as to who recruited those big hosses .

any day is a good day to talk osu football.

XLK got after it?

He got after it en rout to his two career sacks.

I know he was injured a good part of his career, but good lord... if he had just cared enough about getting in shape as much during his four years of eligibility as he did when he thought he might have a shot at the NFL, he could have been a star.

IN shape??? What the hell DT in the NFL do you see that's "in shape". The guy didn't have nay cartlidge in his knees by the time his career was over. He would have made it to the NFL had it not been for that. His dad posts on GP.com

XLK was more of a disrupter than pass rusher. His push on the d-line was pretty damn good.

You don't see the name, new name as it is, Ace"fin".

What about ol' Wanny, or as he likes to lay blame to "Wannstedt", for the Doll-"Fin's" did you not understand.

LOL. Indeed. Played out.

What do you expect now?

I'm not saying I disliked XLK, but did you see him the spring after he graduated? He lost 50 pounds easily - maybe more, and it wasn't muscle weight. The boy looked trim - like, almost Ryan McBean trim.

All I'm saying is that if he had made that commitment during his eligibility, maybe he wouldn't have had such chronic knee problems.

And again - that isn't an insult to XLK. I know how devastating recurring injuries can be - especially joint/cartilage related ones.

look Jimbob if you think you can intimidate me with your hate then i have news for you . I am not a gooner and i think your attacks are uncalled for so back off. I have no idea who tbone is and whats the matter jimbob did this tbone sleep with your wife?
I was wanting to talk about our defensive tackles and xlk had injuries so i wont put him down. if i dont like what somebody write i can disagree with them without throwing unneeded barbs at that person. this world has enough assholes as it is . I dont understand why people have to be jerks when they dont even know the other person. just because a guy isnt as educated as the others doesnt make him a bad fan . my example of a bad fan is one who has nothing but bad things to say about every player .
and no i wont go away. i dont get the hate at all.

I'm sorry you're upset, Ace. Jimbob was just playing with you. No haters here. Please feel free to go ahead and discuss XLK and Brown.

thats ok verb i sometimes have trouble determining when one is joking or not . i am a beleiver verb that any player can succeed even walter thomas or girtman ,yet some guys like these two players just didnt have the work ethic. now xlk and larry brown i thought were good players that didnt take it to the next level .
I also want to apologize for upseting anyone. I have too many gooner fans near where i live and it is causing me to have mad cow disease.
