Message from Michelle:
Hey Mr. OP,
I just saw a commercial for Good Morning America and they were showing a teaser for a story that they're doing on Boone tomorrow morning (7/8). They didn't say much about what they planned to cover, but I think it'll be focused on oil and fuel sources. I saw your post about your friends sons on GMA, so I thought I'd let you know about this too.
Go Pokes!

Boone is the lead story on the frontpage of both CNN.com and USATODAY.com.
The CNN front page pic has him in an OSU tie (I think).

Pretty impressive presentation. That's the thing most appealing to me. People love to bitch and moan about things while failing to offer a solution. If nothing else, at least it's a "plan."

Yeah, I saw him on Fox News last night while working out. I didn't hear what the commentators said after they aired the interview. Did anybody watch it? Were they in agreement with Boone or were they disagreeing with his ideas?

not coincidentally, his "plan" plays right into his investment decisions, and the time coincides with his efforts to get taxpayer support for extending the power grid down to where he's building his wind farm.
Don't get me wrong, I like his idea, as idealistic and self-centered as it may be...
I'm pretty sure that he's long in natural gas positions and in hydrogen as an alternative fuel source.
but then, I'd rather have our tax dollars go for something like this, than on "incentives" for oil companies to develop alternative energy.

Boone's ads are running over here on the TV. I like it when he makes the statement "I've been an oilman all my life but we can't drill our way out of this one".
I remember coverting several tractors to Propane when I was a kid and I really don't remember it being that hard to do.
That was then.........anybody know what it would take to do it today? For cars and pickup trucks??

Make no mistake, I'm fully aware of that.
