I was in Houston yesterday and saw Bobby Reid billboard for TSU. It said something about "Houston's Own Bobby Reid" or something along those lines. It was a HUGE billboard.

It will be interesting to see how he does. I have no idea if he has a good line to protect him or if the rest of the offense is any good.

Bobby Reid tore up the Big12 and set records at OSU... I'm sure he'll do just fine.

so i got curious, checked out Texas State season tickets.

$90 for Reserved Seats
$72 for General Admission
$60 for 18 and under

If that billboard campaign inspires 100 ticket sales, which I doubt, it would still be a bad investment.

Bobby's at Texas Southern, not Texas State. :)

$90 for season tickets at Texas Southern would be huge rip off.

In fact, their ticket page is blank. I am sure it is about $7 or $8 to get in.

Even their band's web site is more developed than their athletic site...

Maybe the billboard didn't cost anything. People have brothers-in-law...

True Verb. Also they could be using it as a recruiting tool for students and athletes more than a season ticket driver.

Agreed.

Calling it a dream come true might be a stretch. But good for him. I hope he does well.

Kind of reminds me of Reno Hightower...

I wish nothing but the best for him...
