My wife and I did not renew our football season tickets. We had a variety of reasons, namely, Boy number 2 will be here sometime around the end of September (and yes my 2 year old screams "power" whenever he hears the word orange) and I can't drop that kind of cash and only make about 2 games.
Anyway. Has anybody else, that is those who didn't or couldn't renew, received a call from the ticket office asking why they didn't renew and what would make them renew...even though their seats were gone?
Just curious.
I can't answer your question about the ticket office, but allow me to congratulate you on the impending arrival! You guys are going to be VERY BUSY for a few years.

Thanks Verb. Children are such a blessing even though they do keep you busy.
By the way, I'm working on getting my oldest to say
"Eww wee" any time he hears "sooners"

My 5 year old says "boo" every time he sees the ou logo. Training is short, and the rewards are endless. ;)

My 7yr old, when he was younger, keep saying :ousucksnana:
I took a little grief over teaching him that.

My youngest daughter was born September 16, 2004 (about 9 months after the Cotton Bowl :) ). Both she and mom were at the first and every game after that.
Congratulations on yours!!! Family decisions are the most important decisions and if you're keeping your family first you won't be making a bad decision.

Congrats on the new arrival! :food-smiley-004:
The good thing about my girls, is that they were both so enamoured by the bright colors of football uniforms, and the movement of the game when they were infants, that they allowed me to watch all the games. You should be so lucky my friend. Hey, at least your on your way to t-ball and pop warner. I'm sittin here watchin gymnastics and ice-skating. I tell ya though, I'm gettin pretty good on the ice skates. Thinking about joining the local amateur hockey league, knock some people around:violent-smiley-017:
Your right guys, kids are the reason we're on this planet. My girls mean the world to me.

Congratulations, Boss 24! Blessings to you and your family!
As for your question, I bet OSU is just trying to cover every base regarding ticket renewals. You not renewing could have been due to many factors -- not receiving a renewal form; lost payment by OSU; moved away from Oklahoma, too expensive, etc. I wouldn't think twice about it.

Have the grandparents watch the kids. Being one we got to take our grandson to his first game last year when he was 3. What a great day, have a pic in my office. Life is more important than sports, congrats.
