Good news for me and my basic cable!
Per DOK:
"NFL Network will let local station air Insight Bowl
By Mike Baldwin

NFL Network spokesman Seth Palansky said Tuesday his network will allow an Oklahoma City television station to telecast the Insight Bowl, which matches Oklahoma State against Indiana on Dec. 31 in Tempe, Ariz.
Similar to allowing NFL teams to carry a team's game in local markets, NFL Network is making exception for fans in Oklahoma and Indiana. The rest of the country can only view the game on NFL Network.
"The good news for Cowboy fans is we made the decision to allow a local station to show it, because it's the right thing to do for the fans,” Palansky said. "We talked to the different constituents involved. The best strategy was to do the same thing as our NFL games.”
Palansky said the game can be picked up by any network. In addition to KSBI-52 (Cox 9) and KOCB-34 (Cox 11), two stations that often carry sports programming, local ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX affiliates can acquire the Insight Bowl.
"It's wide open,” Palansky said. "We must first find out who is interested. It is New Year's Eve. Some stations are under contract to carry national programming. Since it's on a little earlier (5 p.m. CST kickoff), it could come down to which network can clear programming.”
Cox and DirecTV customers can purchase the NFL Network in Oklahoma City. Palansky said it probably will take at least a week, possibly longer, to iron out details before announcing which network will carry the game.
"There are a lot of factors,” Palansky said. "There's promo time, pregame shows, a host of things that go into it. We'll figure that out in upcoming weeks. The big news is we're opening it for a local station.”"
