Who likes the idea of OSU having a Midnight Madness event to begin the start of basketball practices or do you prefer a basketball bash before or after the Homecoming football game? I don't know if Ford would do one or not but it might be something different.

It used to be a stand-alone event, but last year the athletic department lumped it with the Homecoming pep rally (calling it "Homecoming and Hoops", if I remember correctly).

Frankly, I liked it that way, but I know a lot of people had issue with it.

And please, I do not intend for this to turn into a Greek-bashing thread, because it has the potential to like it always has in the past.

I would love a real midnight madness event, though the old man that I am, I doubt I would drive up for it and drive home to Edmond at 2am. Maybe I would though.

Doubt we would have 13,000 there.

I would like to do it again like last year, but only if they could rearrange how it was organized in relation to seating and when the awards were given out.

The NCAA needs to change the starting time for the first practice from Midnight to Sunrise or even Noon. That would end this nighttime madness for everyone.

I'm all for it if they do the men's and women's scrimages 1st then hand out the awards.
