I was out at the Remington Park simulcast today and a horse was running in the 5th race at Belmont by the name of T. Boone. And sure enough, it was owned by T. Boone Pickens, ridden by Cornelio Velasquez and trained by Thomas Albertrani. It was 15-1 morning line and finished next to last in a mile & 16th turf race. And the jockeys silks were? Orange & Black!

His wife raised race hoarses before they met and married. I imagine that is the link.
