Please pray for these scouts and their families

A tornado ripped through a Boy Scout camp in Iowa yesterday, killing 4 boys 13-14yrs old. My son is a scout and getting ready to go to camp in a couple of weeks.

Also, K-State got hit but no deaths or injuries.

I cannot imagine the anguish that those family members were going through at that church last night, waiting on word of the names of sons who died and who survived. My thoughts and prayers are with them today.

I was at the World Jamboree in Japan and we got hit by a typhoon. Luckily, no one got hurt, but yeah, I've had those boys and their families in my prayers since I heard about it.

Sad deal. Tornados have been pretty bad this year I think. Seems like Central Kansas is getting beat up almost every other day at least. Luckily nothing has made it's way into KC yet. Check out the link below from the Topeka NWS. Has a map of the tornados that went through KS yesterday along with some photos. It's almost time for tornado season to wind down, hopefully sooner than later!
