Are there two things that go together any better than that?!
Went there a few nights ago with two other couples. Ran into pistolpete2002 there as well. We were both grabbing a pitcher of beer when he remarked that his wife called the beer there (what was it? Magic beer?) because its soooooo cold and the best tasting beer anywhere.
I gotta believe she's right. I never really noticed until I paid attention after Steven said that. Damn that was good cold beer. I mean as close to frozen as you can get! We had 3 chickens, two sides of okra, nacho's, and the fixins, plus 8 pitchers.....then our waiter brings two more pitchers on the house as we sat around talking and laughing.
We should have a regular meeting there every 1st friday of the month in the off season or something.

Damn that sounds good!! I grew up in Kingfisher and have always loved Eischen's. Although it's a bit more expensive now it's still good! We were supposed to go Tuesday night for a friends birthday but thanks to the weather, I guess we'll wait.
And shoud you start a Friday night Eischen's meeting.....let us know!!! :D

Woohoo, chicken night at Eischen's. I haven't been there in over 2 years. That's too long.

I don't drink but I plan on getting over there to Eischen's over the holidays. My wife and I hear about how good their food is all the time from my son and his fraternity brothers. They'd rather drive all the way to Eischen's from OCU than eat at most places in OKC.

As good as the chicken sounds, I think anything would go good with it!

You got it right Jack. She calls it magic beer!!! And she also likes when you put tomato juice in it and have some "red beer". I don't necessarily like the name or the taste but she sure likes it. Anyways, it was great seeing you there and I agree, we should have some sort of meeting there.
I'll be there Thursday night. Lookin' damn forward to it too.

Eischen's is a great place! I have a theory, there is two kinds of fried chicken;
1. Granny's (served with mash potatoes/gravy.)
2. Eischen's (served with a lot of cold beer and hot sauce.)

I have never been but had several friends from Okarche back at OSU. The one that I was very interested in was a Eischen grand-daughter and an OSU cheerleader. That all ended after the restraining order ;)
