has anyone got a passport lately?

We got our kids yesterday (in 2 weeks flat, i might add) and they didn't return the birth certificates. They used to, as recently as February of this year. Considering it took 3 times as long to get my kids missing birth certicates replaced as it did to get the passports, I would like the dang things back. I wondered if they have started sending them under different cover for security but it would have to be a pretty new rule.

Can't find any info on the federal website and thought someone might have a clue her, before i get on the phone and wait in a que forever.

if you got them at the post office go see the person there that did the paperwork.

we got ours last year, and we got them in about 7 days, and got the BC back, but I don't remember the mechanism

My wife got her passport a couple weeks ago, and she received her passport first and then a week later or so got her BC back in the mail. So I would say that if you just received your passports, wait about a week or so, and you should get the BCs back.

i was hoping that might be the deal. my husband got his in february and everything came in one envelope, which is probably kind of a bad deal now that i think about it.
