Tomorrow my wife and I celebrate our 32nd anniversary. I can't believe she has put up with me for so long. Anybody else meet their husband or wife at OSU? My wife is a year older than me and when I heard she was getting her associate degree and was going to graduate I knew I had to move fast to keep her and the rest is history! :D

Congrats to you both.

I met Mr. V at OSU--our first date was to Pistol Pattie's to see Asleep at the Wheel--and we'll celebrate our 30th anniversary in June.

well i was married for 32 but like i have said before on here, the last 15 did not count, ask around town and find out how nasty the divorce was:argue:
she should have married her kids that's all she cared about not me

but no we met at SHS:music-smiley-019:

There aren't very many "Dallas" posters on here to "ask around town". :p

CONGRATS!!!!

My Grandparents celebrated 60 this year. Me and my hubby are on year 14 - and we met at OSU. We were both members of the Off-Campus Student Assoc.

Congratulations! My hubby & I met at OSU. We dated 4 years and have been married 19yrs! In fact, all of my siblings (4) have met their spouses at OSU; we bleed orange. There was never any worry about bleeding that other color; being born & raised in Stillwater doesn't hurt, though!

If you added all of mine up I think I would have been around the 30 year mark as of the last divorce.

Key word: LAST as in final, as in finished, as in no more, as in I could have been a wealthy man if I hadn't given it all away to former spouses.

the way my ex went thru my money or should I say I paid for everything and she made $45000 from her job, she had $2000 a month to spend on anything she liked, now she has $3000 a month for the rest of her life:) then mad cow put me out of business but I just started my own company again and within a year I should be back to where I was $$$ so I might end up a wealthy man without the liabilitys and the liability maker:party-smiley-018::music-smiley-005::food-smiley-004:

Congrats, OSUFan. The wife and I have a way to go to match that - we will celebrate 11 years in August - but we're going to make a heckuva run at it. We met at OSU, dated for 5 years and have been inseparable ever since.

Happy Anniversary, OSUFan. The wife and I will celebrate our 9th anniversary next month. We've known each other pretty much all our lives, but didn't date until high school. Got married after her first (and only) year at OSU and before my last year at OSU.

I believe we got married on the same day. May 15, 1976? And in the same church (not sure.)

And no I'm not his wife, LOL!!

eta - and yes we met at OSU :)

Since I can't edit, I'm adding that even though our parents went to the same church, y'all probably got married in a different church. Do churches have multiple weddings on the same day? dunno :)

First Presby, May 14th, 1976 by Dr. Struthers. Does that help? :D

Boy, I'm an idiot. I thought you posted today about tomorrow. I guess I was looking at the dates of the newer replies. LOL!

Yep, well I was close. We got married at the same church the day after, by the assoc. pastor, Mike Sikes (not sure of spelling.) :)

Well, I WAS a Presbyterian. I was pretty much asked to leave so we are now back row Baptists. ;)

And I got my BS in Advertising and my MS in Education. I think my Mom's parents were Presbyterians too.

Thanks and I don't really consider myself a Presbyterian either. Just a Christian. :)

OSUFan, hope you & your wife had a wonderful anniversary! :D :party-smiley-018:

15 years. Met her while at OSU. We both worked at the Sirloin Stockade! I was the worlds greatest cook and she was a smokin' hot waitress.

She's still smokin' hot. I don't cook too much anymore though.
