iron should I buy my wife for Christmas?

Would a vacuum cleaner be more appropriate?

I got her a treadmill and washing machine last year, so those are out.

Any help from the females here on the forum??

Get her what SHE wants. I asked for a Rowenta iron and a new stick vac. I hope I get it. I LIKE appliances.

How about instead of getting her an iron, you give her coupons good for having YOU do the ironing!!!:D

You need to tone this down a little; it might scare any new posters. Hell, I'm a regular and it scares me.

If they make it past your festive holiday port-a-potty, I fail to see how my modest love of appliances will faze them...

I dated a woman not long back that liked appliances; she had a whole nightstand drawer full of them but we won't go there because I don't think that is the same type of appliances Verb is talking about nor this thread is about.;)

In answer to the original question: If you are going to get her an iron make sure it is the top of the line and then back that up with something like jewelry or perfume or something romantic like that. Women like that sort of stuff. Helps keep the peace around the house.

If you get her an iron or vacuum cleaner, you might as well go all out and purchase the French Maids outfit as well. Complete the ensemble with a feather duster.

I mean, if she is going to be working, you might as well get something out of the deal as well.

I'm thinking along the lines of a second chainsaw now. Or possibly a new shotgun or a birddog puppy. She asks for diamonds every year, but I fail to see the functionality of those. I just don't under stand her line of thinking.;)

Now we're talking. Leave it to a guy to come up with the perfect, fun, complement to the practical items I already had in mind. She's going to be very surprised!!!

Thanks Ben. Really.

I see all my training with you has worked!!! ;)

Seriously, though, all I asked for Christmas was to go see my Dad and the rest of my family for about 10-12 days. I leave here on the 27th and will spend that night with my niece in Indianapolis, and stop somewhere around Owassa the next evening for Ivan to take me to dinner before I finish my trip to Del City. Best present Keith could ever have given me besides his love. :D

Thank you, Sweetie. :-*
