The wall almost always wins.

Doing a cardio drill last night. Lost my balance and found myself pretty much running while pinwheeling my arms to try to get my balance. Consequently, I didn't have hands to break the impact.

Head meet wall.

It definitely looks worse than it feels right now. No concussion, nose not broken. Doing okay.

Why the warning? That's a enormous improvement!

Glad you are okay, That looks painful. Not to mention all the explanations you have to give throughout the day.

There were eight of us in class. It's a shuttle run drill. If you are "the man", you have to race the other seven in a roll and then the next person is "the man".

At each of three lines, you have to drop on your butt, sit and spin around to push up position as if you were trying to escape someone who had your back. Then you stand up. Then you go back down an actually do a push up before going to the next line.

I was "the man", and it was like my sixth race. I started to get up before going back down to do my push up, lost my balance, and fell forward with my arms pinwheeling, right into the wall.

I'd be playing that OSBI tough guy card. Think you could spin a pretty good story.

"Well, you see, kids, Daddy was playing tag with some other grownups. Daddy was 'it'. Daddy doesn't like to be 'it'. Sure, Daddy looks like he's in some pain right now, but you should see the other daddy!"
