How is parking going to be this year? Are they far enough along that they actually have some parking. I am more likely to not come to a game because of parking than I am because of ticket prices. I'm trying to decide to buy season tickets or wait another year until parking improves. What do you think? I have a very low tolerance for hassles. I don't mind walking for 30 minutes to get to the stadium but don't ask me to sit in a traffic jam for 30 minutes.

Simple solution: get there very early to party.......leave very late partying..........no traffic hassles whatsoever

From what I hear Posse Parking is going to be a mess now that they have started on the IPF on the northside. That is going to eliminate all of that parking so "up close" parking is probably going to be at a premium. Of course, they have got rid of the old Scholar's Inn which is a flat lot now.

the new parking garage for the intermodel traffic thing is supposed to be finished by then, and it's doubtful that any work on the IPF will affect parking for this season . . . maybe that one little lot on the left in this picture, but reportedly there will also be some extra parking in front of the WEZ that will be ready.

The way the fund has been performing (up/down) the IPF construction may not begin until sometime in the Fall... they're going to start with the new practice fields anyway.

The Multi-Modal parking garage will be done in August. There is also the lot out by Physical Plant, it's a long walk but not that bad (I've done it before). The key is to get there before the walk starts, stay for the entire game, be patient and if you don't want to fight traffic then just sit and your car and listen to the post game show while traffic clears.

I think you'll probably wait a long time before the congestion of traffic in and around campus on gameday gets better and more parking spaces open up.

Buy your tickets now, get there early, take a deep breath and relax ...
