I got an email the other day that said I could order one of THESE(Link) (http://www.advancedgt.com/sportscaster.php) for free, just because I was registered on one of O&A's websites. I actually got the email from one of the admins from the site is my guess. The catch was that you pay to get it activated ($9.99 one time) and keep it activated for One Year at an additional cost of $6.99/month or something like that and then the shipping. I think it retails for around $39.99 or so, and with shipping, activation and everything it ended up being something like $45.00

I was just wondering if anybody had one of these, or knew somebody that did, and if so, how do you/they like it? It says it has a built in FM Modulator, but that it also comes with a car connection kit? If it's already got a built in FM Modulator, why would I need to "connect" it to my car?

Oh Well, anybody got one or know somebody who does?

I would guess the car connection kit includes a satellite antenna and lighter plug for power.

I have the sportscaster. Bought it at BestBuy for $25 or $35. It comes with the car kit that includes the antenna, lighter plug power supply, dock, and cables to wire it into your car radio as an aux and a casette adapter. I use the casette adapter. I tried doing the FM modulater and couldn't get any one of the frequencies to work for me.

When you sign up for service, the more you sign up for, the cheaper it is by the month.

OSU football games have been on XM this season but, I haven't found any basketball yet. Hopefully the conf. games will be there. Some Texas bb games have been on already.
