This looks like a pretty good movie! Time permitting, I will try to see it this weekend.

I've read a couple of pretty good reviews about it. Looks good to me too. Don't know If have time to see it.

It doesnt look very good to me. I will get it on Netflix in a few months.....maybe I will be suprised.

To each his own, I guess. Speed Racer looks amazingly great to me. I'm completely geeked out about it.

Was the tv a black and white tv with rabbit ears and knobs to turn for off/on and channels?

I loved Speed Racer as a kid.....

I hope Im wrong about the movie, but it looks to me that it wont have much substance, just a bunch of visual effects to ooh & aah about.

I hope I am proven wrong.

It just doesn't appeal to me. It looks like they made the 3D version first and then converted it. I just don't like the look of the movie.

No, it was a post-war color Sony that had a 13 inch screen and weighed about 300 lbs from all the vacuum tubes.

The original cartoons didn't have much substance....cool cars, hot chicks, lots of spectacular crashes, fist fights.

If I get all that, it's all good.

I watched Iron Man online yesterday. It was really good! Great casting of Robert Downy Jr. I'll go see it in the theater.
