Why are you now limiting the amount of time in editing a post to 5 minutes?

Because editing a post after this time can be confusing for some users.

Think that you make a post. Other persons REPLY to your post, and then you come and edit it.

Now i understand what Pet was saying. I didnt get it before. With this change, you can't go back and edit a post you made a week ago.

MEANING we will keep it with the edit timer on. I don't see the need to go back and edit a post 3 hours later. Also, i am editing your information below your avatar, Legel. I don't want advertisement for some other site/spam.
