OSU has got a HUGE wrestling dual this weekend against Penn St. Even though it's at home and we're the higher seed, we're actually a 1 1/2 point dog to the Nittany Lions as we're only favored in 4 matches.

It is Take a Kid to the game day, so any kid in the 8th grade or younger can go to the game free with the purchase of one adult ticket.

So brave the weather and come support your OSU grapplers as they face a tough test early in the season!

I'll be there. It is going to be tough though, but I think the Pokes can do it.

Phil Davis from PSU wears his singlet backwards and punches like a girl.

Heh, I forgot about that. Hopefully Rosholt has got some pointers for Foster cuz he's going to need them.

Should be a good dual tomorrow. Hope the fans come out big time. Decent turnout for the Bedlam match, would like to see that many or more. Weather could be a factor though. Froze my butt off at the Christmas Parade in Tulsa this evening. Pistol Pete was on a float in the Parade!!!! Way to go Pete!!

Yeah, it was a heartbreaker, but it was a good dual.

Each team won 5 weights, but PSU had 2 pins while we only had 3 maj dec., so we couldn't counteract their bonus points.

The 125lbs match was the difference. Ben Ashmore was up with 4 seconds left in the match and when they reset, his opponent managed the grab the takedown and the win. Oh well, Ben has wrestled really well for a RFr., and he has held his own even against 3 top 10 opponents (The guy he wrestled was ranked #3 I believe)

Bubba Hopkins is a punk. He sure moved around really well for hurting his knee. Anyone who listened on the radio know why Mike Bizzle wrestled rather than Quentin Fuentes?

Coleman needs to find his game. He needed a takedown for a major and had over a minute to get a takedown to do it, and he sat there and didn't shoot until it was too late. I don't know what is up with his slow start, but he has started this season very ugly.

Clayton Foster did alright against #1 Phil Davis for most of the match, even got some back points, but Davis ended up getting the pin in the 3rd period.

All in all, I think we did fairly well. Our team is so young that they I think they will improve dramatically over the season and definitely be a force next year. I think we'll definitely surprise 'em at nationals this year.

I don't like the 2 pins...that is way too many bonus points in a close match. Even if you are completely outmatched, you have to find a way to stay off your back.

Coleman has been wrestling very timid all season. Hopefully he will pull his head out and be the wrestler we know he is capable of being.
